Fight Against the Dark Knights
Prologue
“Do you love me?” asked Elizabeth Williams. She was lying down on the ground next to her boyfriend of three months, Eric James. She touched his hand in a seductive way.
“Of course I do sweetheart.” Eric said back. He intertwined his long skinny fingers with here short petit fingers and kissed her softly on her small, upturned nose. In Eric’s mind today was a perfect day for their date. The bright, warm sun was high in the sky. The air gave them a cool breeze on the hot summer day.
Abruptly, Elizabeth let go of Eric’s hand and stood up. “If you love me Eric James, then you would save me from this place. Save me before I die.” Before Eric could say anything to her, her auburn hair caught on fire. Her sweet gray eyes turned pitch black. Her bronze skin turned ghostly pale.
Eric jumped up from the ground in surprise. “Wha….Wha…Wha…?” was all that he could get out. Unexpectedly the ground around them gave out. The breeze stopped and the air turned stale. The temperature dropped. Lightning struck a tree in the park and started a fire.
Elizabeth face showed no emotion. She was still as a rock till the ground under here gave away. Eric tried to grab her, but was too late. By the time Eric was on the ground, her body was gone.
